update1.5 – A new scenario is under testing: Essex, September 1943

The US strategy has been set: a thrust through the Central Pacific.
The backbone of this enterprise is the brand new CV Essex-class.

This scenario feature them raiding the Marshall-Gilbert islands prior to the invasion of Tarawa.
As an alternative history, the Japanese Navy learned or guessed about the US intent, and send the Combined Fleet in the area on time.
